Wonderful Vienna Austria squat vase with poppies. This hand painted vase features burnt orange poppies, buds, and greenery on a ground of ivory, peach, and cream. The throat and underside of the vase boast a vivid cobalt blue. These deep blue areas feature scalloped borders and are outlined with gold gilding. In addition, a detailed gold floral design adorns the deep blue areas. The vase measures 7 ½" in diameter and stands just over 3" tall. It is marked with the Leonard Vienna Austria factory mark in green, circa 1900 or earlier. This unique antique vase is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks, or repairs. |

Large and lovely vintage vase with poppies decoration. This vase stands 14 ½" tall and measures 6 ½" in diameter at its widest point. It is hand painted with beautiful burnt orange poppies and lush greenery on a ground of mint green, white, and soft blue. The flared neck and base rim of the vase are painted a deep hunter green. The mouth opening of the vase is decorated with heavily applied gold gilding that is in very good condition. Though unmarked, this vase has the look and feel of high quality European porcelain and is most likely Limoges or Austrian in origin, circa 1900. With no chips, cracks, or restoration, this antique vase is in excellent condition. |

Impressive Limoges vase with roses. This large and lovely vase is hand painted with deep red, white, and pink roses and foliage on a ground of white and pale blue. The rim of the vase is decorated with rich gold gilding, and sponged gilding adorns the upper neck of the vase, just below the gilded mouth opening. The artist's initials appear next to the cluster of roses, but they are difficult to read (please refer to the photo). The vase is marked with the La Porcelaine Limousine underglaze white ware mark in green, circa 1905-late 1930's. It stands a stately 13 ½" tall and measures 8" in diameter at its widest point. With no chips, cracks, or restoration, this impressive antique vase is in excellent condition. |
