Limoges Roses Tray, Guerin, Circa 1900-1932
|
Lovely Limoges dresser tray with roses. This beautifully shaped tray is hand painted with large pink roses and foliage on a ground of white, mint green, and hunter green. The irregular rim of the tray is decorated with rich gold gilding that is in excellent condition, with minor wear noted along the outer rim. Also noted is a pinhead-sized speck of missing paint in the center of the largest pink rose. Please see the photo. The tray measures slightly less than 13" long and is 9 ¾" wide. It is marked with the William Guerin white ware mark in green, circa 1900-1932. With no chips, cracks, or repairs, this antique tray is in excellent condition. |
