Pretty Limoges tray with roses. This tray is hand painted with twining roses in shades of red, pink, and yellow. Background colors are pale blue, lavender, taupe, butter yellow, and white. The outer edge of the tray is sky-blue. Raised white enamel scrolling frames the palette of dainty roses. The outer rim of the tray is decorated with gold gilding that is in good condition, with a small amount of wear along the rim. It does not detract from the piece. The tray measures 11 ½" long and 8 ½" wide. It is marked with the Plainemaison underglaze white ware mark in green, circa 1890's-1910. With no chips, cracks, or restoration, this antique tray is in excellent condition.
