Charming vintage sugar shaker with pansies. This lovely shaker is expertly hand painted with pansies in shades of purple, white, yellow, and lavender. Background colors are lavender, purple, and mauve. The top of the shaker is decorated with gold gilding that is in excellent condition. Though unmarked and unsigned, this vintage shaker is most likely Austrian or Bavarian in origin. To view matching pieces painted by the same artist, please see VAS-1125, CUP-1013, PIT-1063, BWL-1122, or COM-1016 in our inventory. The shaker is dated on the bottom, Jan, '98, for 1898. It stands 6 ¾" tall and is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks, or repairs.

Charming antique egg cups with pansies. These cups are expertly hand painted with purple, yellow, and white pansies on a ground of mint green, mauve, blue, taupe, and white. The upper rims of the cups are decorated with rich gold gilding that is in excellent condition. The cups stand 2 ¼" tall and measure almost 2" in diameter. They bear a manufacturer's mark that we have been unable to identify. Though the eggs cups are not initialed or signed by the artist, they are definitely the work of the artist who painted the following items in our inventory: PIT-1063, BWL-1122, COM-1016, SHA-1038, VAS-1125. With no chips, cracks, or restoration, these charming egg cups are in excellent condition.

Lovely vintage muffineer or sugar shaker set with violets. Though unmarked, this sugar shaker and creamer set features fine, translucent porcelain and is most likely Austrian or Bavarian in origin. It is hand painted with clusters of purple and lavender violets on a ground of lavender, mauve, and soft blue. The charming feet, handle, and rims are decorated with vibrant gold gilding that is in excellent condition. The artist, Carmen L., has signed both pieces of the set. The sugar shaker stands 4 ¾" tall and measures 4" in diameter at its widest point. The pitcher stands 4 ½" tall at the mouth. The shaker is missing its cork. With no chips, cracks, or restoration, this charming set is in excellent condition.

Elegant Limoges sugar and creamer set with roses, private labeled for Pitkin and Brooks. This gorgeous set is hand painted with pink and red roses and greenery on a ground of creamy ivory, deep green, peach blush, and gray. Gold gilding adorns the handle and rims of the creamer and is in excellent condition. The twig feet and ruffled rim of the open sugar bowl are decorated with gold gilding that is in very good condition, with wear noted to the high points of the ruffled rim. Listed French-factory artist, A. Lajus, has signed both pieces of the set. Both are marked with the Elite Works underglaze white ware mark in green, used after 1900, as well at the Pitkin and Brooks private label in red, circa 1903-1917. The creamer stands 5 ½" tall and measures 4 ½" in diameter across its base. The open sugar bowl measures 5 ½" in diameter and stands 2 ½" tall at the rim. Elegant Limoges chamberstick with white and pink florals. This lovely chamberstick is expertly hand painted with florals, branches, and greenery on a mint green ground. The scalloped rims and handle are decorated with rich gold gilding that is in excellent condition, with very minor wear noted to the high points of the handle. The very talented artist, M. Grego, has signed the piece near the handle. It is marked with the Laviolette factory underglaze white ware mark in green, circa 1896-1905. The chamberstick measures 6" in diameter and stands about 3" tall. With no chips, cracks, or restoration, this antique chamberstick is in excellent condition.

Dainty vintage salt or pepper shaker with roses. This egg-shaped shaker is hand painted with delicate pink roses and greenery on a ground of mint green and pale blue. The shaker features a screw-on circular base. The shaker stands almost 3 ½" tall and measures 2 ½" in diameter at its widest point. Though unmarked, the shaker has the look and feel of fine antique porcelain, and is most likely Bavarian or Austrian in origin. Charming Austrian mayonnaise set with daisies. This set features a leaf-shaped mayonnaise dish with matching underplate. Both pieces of the set are hand painted with yellow daisies and greenery on a ground of off-white, pale mint green, and rusty brown. The rims and handle are decorated with rich gold gilding that is in excellent condition. Both pieces of the set are signed and dated on the bottom by the artist, Katharine Veio Martin, 1917. The Victoria, Austria, factory mark, in blue, appears on the bottom of each piece. The underplate measures 6" by 6 ½", and the mayonnaise dish measures 6 ¼" long and stands 2" tall at the rim. This vintage set is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks, or repairs.

The shaker tops are decorated with rich gold gilding that is in perfect condition. Though unmarked, the workmanship, lovely color pallet, and excellent quality of the porcelain indicate that they are most likely Austrian, Bavarian, or Limoges in origin. The stoppers are missing. Gorgeous Limoges/Pickard mayonnaise set with currants. This outstanding set is hand painted with vibrant red and green currants and greenery on a background of buttery yellow, deep sienna, and pale blue. Heavily applied gold gilding adorns the irregular rims and handle. The gilding is in excellent condition, with very minor wear noted along the edge of the underplate. The painted surfaces are also in excellent condition, with one (1/4" long) tiny wear spot on a raised point in middle of red currants on underplate. Please see photo #4. Well-known Pickard artist, Joseph Blaha, has signed both the mayonnaise dish and the underplate. Both pieces of the set are marked with the Haviland & Co. underglaze white ware mark in green, circa 1894-1931, along with the Pickard Studio trademark, circa 1898-1903. Beautiful Limoges mayonnaise set with wild roses. This lovely set is an example of the "mixtion method" of decoration, a combination of transfer and hand painted design. Both the mayonnaise dish and underplate are decorated with vivid yellow and fuchsia wild roses and greenery on a white and pale blue background. The centers of the roses are hand painted with raised white enamel highlights. The ornate and scalloped rims and handles are painted with rich gold gilding that is in excellent condition, with the only wear being to a couple of the high points on the raised relief rim of the mayonnaise dish. The underplate measures 7" long and 5 ½" wide. The mayonnaise dish measures 6" long, 4 ½" wide, and stands 2" tall. Both pieces of the set are double marked with the Coiffe factory underglaze white ware mark in green, circa 1891-1914, as well as the Blakeman and Henderson overglaze exporting mark in green, used in the early 1900's. This colorful set is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks, or restoration.

The handles, rims, and finial of this lovely wedding ring design set are painted with heavy gold gilding. The sugar bowl is signed by Pickard Studio artist, F. Kriesche. It measures 5" from handle to handle and stands 4" tall to the top of the finial. The creamer stands 2 ¾" tall to the top of the handle and measures 4" from handle to spout. This lovely antique muffineer is hand painted with multi-colored roses on one side and a colorful bouquet of roses and lilacs on the other side. The embossed top and narrow neck of the muffineer are decorated with rich gold gilding that is in excellent condition. French factory artist, Vogt, has signed the muffineer. The piece stands 4 ¾" tall and measures slightly more than 3" in diameter at its widest point. It is marked with the Tressemann and Vogt overglaze decorating mark in purple, circa 1907-1919. This muffineer is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks, or restoration. The muffineer does not have a cork stopper in the bottom.

The upper portions of both the creamer and sugar, as well as the outermost surface of the lid, are painted a deep blue-black. The deep blue-black areas are beautifully highlighted with expertly applied, raised enamel scrollwork in white. The rims, handles, and finial are painted with rich gold gilding that is in perfect condition. The sugar bowl stands 4" tall to the top of the finial and measures 6" from handle to handle. The creamer stands 3" tall and measures 4 ½" from spout to handle. Both pieces were painted by the artist M.F. Morrill, and are marked with the Gerard, Dufraisseix, and Abbot underglaze white ware mark in green, circa 1900-1941. This wonderful set is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks, or repairs. The "shadow" foliage is expertly done in shades of blue and lavender. The hand painted roses continue up the sides and onto the top of the shaker. This adorable sugar shaker is initialed "H. T. S." twice by the artist, on the side and on the bottom of the shaker. The shaker stands 4 ½" tall and is 3" in diameter at its widest point. Wonderful vintage Limoges breakfast set. This set consists of a small syrup pot, a covered jam basket, an open sugar bowl, salt and pepper shakers, and a matching tray. The syrup pot stands 5 ¼" tall and is marked on the bottom with the Paroutaud Freres underglaze white ware mark in green, circa 1903-1917. The handle, finial, and rims of the pot and lid are decorated with gold gilt. The pot is decorated with hand painted red currants and green foliage. The artist's initials, C.E.S., and the number "32" are written in gold on the bottom of the pot. The matching handled jam jar bears no factory mark. It is initialed in gold on the bottom, C.E.S., along with the name, "McLain". The jam jar is hand painted with the same currants and green foliage, with gold gilt decorating the finial, rim, and handle. The adorable matching salt and pepper shakers are unmarked and stand just 2" tall. They are hand painted with currants and foliage and are initialed, C.E.S. along with the number "33". The shaker tops and bottom rims are decorated with gold gilt. The open sugar bowl is hand painted with like decoration. The inside of the bowl has a lustre finish. This piece is unmarked and unsigned. The last piece in this set is a lovely handled tray whose only markings are the initials of the artist, C.E.S., and the number "31". The tray is 11" by 4" and is ½" deep. It is hand painted with the matching currants and greenery and the handles and rim are painted with gold gilt. This is a lovely set with all pieces in excellent condition, no chips, cracks, or restorations. We are not certain if the numbers 31, 32, and 33 on the pieces represent the year the artist painted them, or if they had some other significance. Since the syrup pot was the only piece with a factory mark, it is possible that the other unmarked pieces are Limoges or Bavarian in origin.

Rare and unique Limoges hand painted pot with cover. This wonderful and unusual piece is decorated with lovely white and yellow roses and greenery on a background of white, soft green and tan. The handle and inner rim of the pot are painted a sunny yellow and are trimmed with gold. The cover is also painted with roses and greenery, and the inside of the vented opening is trimmed in gold. The pot has a spout for pouring, so, perhaps this is a syrup pot. The cover has four indentations that would allow for pouring. The pot is 4 ¼" tall without the lid and is 5 ½" in diameter at the top. The distance from the handle to the opposite side of the pot measures almost 9". With the lid in place, the height is 5". The pot is marked with the Leon Sazerat underglaze white ware mark in green, circa 1891- late 1890's. Few examples are found with this mark, so here we have a most unusual piece with a rare mark, making it quite unique. Impressed into the bottom of the pot are the initials, L.S., ¾. Ltre DEPOSE. It is artist signed on the bottom, L. Blanche Lenzi. This piece is in excellent condition, with the only blemish being some slight wear to the bright yellow paint where the lid sits atop the pot. It is a truly unique piece of Limoges porcelain.

The gilding around the top edge and handle is in excellent condition. The shaker is 4" tall and a little more than 2 ½" in diameter. The floral decoration is in beautiful condition. This piece is in near mint condition. The only thing missing is the cork.

Limoges Open Sugar and Creamer Set. This elegant set has a soft white background with mint green highlights near the outer rim of each piece. The handles, feet and rims are covered with gold gilt. The interior is glossy white. They are marked with the William Guerin underglaze white ware mark in green, circa 1900-1932. They are signed by the artist Manley. The creamer measures almost 6" long and 3 3/4" high. The open sugar bowl is 5 1/2" long and 2 1/2" high. Mint condition.

Lovely Limoges sugar and creamer set. This set is decorated with purple violets on a pastel background of mint green and creamy yellow. The handles, rim and finial are painted with gold gilt that does show some wear. The creamer measures 4 ½" from handle to spout and is 3 ¾" tall at the handle. The sugar bowl measures 6" from handle to handle and is 3 ½" tall at the handle. The set was manufacturered by T&V (Tresseman and Vogt) and are stamped with mark 7, circa 1892-1907. The set is in very good condition.

Limoges sugar and creamer with poppies. This lovely handpainted set has a sleek shape and is decorated with bright orange poppies and lush greenry. The lidded sugar bowl stands 3" high and the creamer stamped with the Coronet (George Borgfeldt) overglaze decorating mark, circa 1906-1920 and the Latrille Freres underglaze white ware mark, circa 1899-1913. No chips, cracks, or restorations. Excellent condition.

Adorable and colorful Limoges two piece mayonnaise, ramekin, or sauce set. Eye-catching, hand painted white, pink, and magenta dianthus adorn this set. They are painted on a colorful background shaded with pale green and lilac and appear to be reflected in water. The rim of the under plate and dish are trimmed with lovely gold gilt. Both pieces are signed by the artist, Jean P. The under plate is 5" in diameter. The dish is 4" across and stands 1 ½" high. Both pieces are double marked with Limoges, France, mark 4, and the L. W. Levy and Company (Imperial) overglaze decorating mark, circa post World War I to the 1920's. The set is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks, or repairs.
