Delicate unmarked Limoges cup with roses and cherub. This cup features a square pedestal base, ornate handle and thin, translucent porcelain. Though unmarked we believe the maker to be Paroutaud Freres, circa 1903-1917. A similar blank may be seen in Plate 964 of Mary Frank Gaston's, "Collector's Encyclopedia of Limoges Porcelain", Third Edition. The cup is expertly hand painted with dainty peach roses and an adorable cherub playing the violin. Background colors are white, pale blue, and soft peach. Exquisite raised gold scrollwork adorns the cup and pedestal. Vibrant gold gilding accents the handle and rims. The gilding is in excellent condition. The cup stands 3 ¾" tall and sits on a base that measures 1 ¾ inches square. With no chips, cracks, or restoration, this cup is in excellent condition. |

Stunning Limoges coffeepot private labeled for Pitkin and Brooks. This gorgeous coffeepot is hand painted with large and lovely pink and red roses and greenery on a ground of creamy ivory, deep green, and pink blush. The pot's spout is white and adorned with gilded decoration. The scalloped, skirted base rim, handle, and finial are decorated with vibrant gold gilding that is in excellent condition. Listed French-factory artist, A. Lajus, has signed the pot. It stands almost 10" tall to the top of the finial and measures 5" in diameter across its base. It is marked with the Elite Works underglaze white ware mark in green, used after 1900, along with the Pitkin and Brooks private label in red, circa 1903-1917. The ornate handle, finial, spout tip, spout base, and rims are decorated with vibrant gold gilding that is in excellent condition. The artist, S. Heilbron, has signed the bottom of the pot. It stands 7 ¼" tall to the top of the finial and measures 6" from handle to spout. The pot is marked with the Jean Pouyat underglaze white ware mark in green, circa 1890-1932. Outstanding, unmarked Limoges chocolate pot with currants. This lovely chocolate pot is hand painted with clusters of red currants and greenery on a ground of creamy ivory, rusty red, and amber. The handle, bow tie lid, mouth, and base rim of the chocolate pot are decorated with rich gold gilding. The gilding shows wear on the inner mouth rim, handle, and lid. The gold wear does not detract from the beauty of this colorful piece. The artist's initials, L. Y. H., appear on the bottom. This chocolate pot is an unmarked blank manufactured by Gerard, Dufraisseix, and Abbott, circa early 1900's. It stands 11 ¼" tall to the top of the finial, and is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks, or repairs. |

Beautiful Prussian Royal Rudolstadt chocolate set with roses. This lovely set includes a tall and elegant chocolate pot and five matching cups and saucers. It is decorated in the "mixtion method", a combination of transfer design and hand painting. Trailing pink and white roses adorn all pieces of the set. Raised enamel highlights on the rose petals give them a three-dimensional appearance. Background colors are ivory, buttery yellow, and pale blue. Vibrant gold gilding accents the handles, finial, and rims. The gilding is in excellent condition. The chocolate pot stands 11 ¾" tall to the top of the finial. The cups stand 3" tall, and each saucer measures 5" in diameter. Each piece of the set is marked Royal Rudolstadt and bears the shield and crown mark of Beyer and Bock. Beyer and Bock existed as a decorating workshop from 1853, and this set dates from about 1900. With no chips, cracks, or restoration, this elegant antique chocolate set is in excellent condition. |

Exquisite Limoges demitasse cup and saucer set with roses. This stunning set is expertly hand painted with tiny, well-executed roses in shades of pale pink, deep pink, and buttery yellow. Gilded florals on a gilded backdrop adorn both the cup and saucer. The gilding is in excellent condition. The petite cup measures 2 1/8" tall. The saucer measures 4 ½" in diameter. Elegant vintage chocolate set with yellow roses. This charming chocolate set includes an unmarked Limoges chocolate pot and four matching cup and saucer sets. Each cup and saucer is marked with the Oscar & Edgar Gutherz (Royal Austria) underglaze white ware mark in green, circa 1899-1918. Each piece in the set is expertly hand painted with detailed yellow roses and foliage on a ground of white and soft blue. A lovely muted shade of peach accents the upper and lower portions of the chocolate pot and cups, as well as the outer edges of the saucers. The rose petals are highlighted with raised white enamel, giving them great depth. The finial, handles, and rims are decorated with vibrant gold gilding that is in very good condition, with some wear noted to the innermost area of the spout and underside of the handle. Please see the photos. The chocolate pot stands 9" tall to the top of the finial. The saucers measure 4 ¾" in diameter, and each dainty chocolate cup stands 3" tall. Adorable Limoges footed coffee or tea set with forget-me-nots. This charming set consists of a tea pot with lid, sugar bowl with lid, and creamer. Each piece of the set is expertly hand painted with dainty blue forget-me-nots and greenery on a white ground. Intricate raised enamel beadwork and raised gold scrollwork adorns each piece of the set with amazing detail. The handles, feet, and finials are decorated with vibrant gold gilding that is in excellent condition. The very talented artist has inscribed on the bottom of the tea pot: "M. E. F. to A. N. 1899". All three pieces of the set are marked with the Delinieres & Co. underglaze white ware mark in green, circa 1894-1900. Elegant Limoges chocolate pot with pink, blue, and gold floral design. This rare blank features six oblong, blown-out panels that are decorated with sprays of delicate pink and blue flowers. Overlaying the pink and blue floral design are graceful sprays of flowers, rendered in intricate, raised gold. The lid of the chocolate pot features the same elegant design and is topped with an ornate and gilded finial. The intricate handle and undulating mouth and spout of the chocolate pot are decorated with rich gold gilding that is in excellent condition. Background colors are white and pale pink. The chocolate pot stands 9 ¼" tall to the top of the finial, and the body of the pot measures 5" in diameter at its widest point. Outstanding Limoges tea set with violets. This lovely set includes a lidded teapot, along with the matching creamer and covered sugar bowl. Each piece of this set is expertly hand painted with vibrant purple violets and greenery on a palette of soft pastels, including yellow, blue, mint green, peach, and ivory. The ornate rims, handles, and finials are decorated with rich gold gilding that is in excellent condition. The very talented artist has initialed and dated each piece of the set, M. T. '04 (for 1904). All three pieces of the set are marked with the Tressemann and Vogt underglaze white ware mark in green that reads T&V Limoges, VENICE, Pat. Dec 22, 1896. Gorgeous Limoges Art Nouveau chocolate set. This set includes a pedestal chocolate pot with three matching pedestal cups and saucers. The lovely pedestal base of the chocolate pot is also pierced, which adds to its elegance. The chocolate pot is hand painted with trailing pink roses and white lovebirds on a white and pale mint green background. The chocolate pot is also monogrammed in gold with the letter "G". Each cup and saucer set is decorated with a different type of floral design. One set is hand painted with purple violets and greenery on a ground of white and lavender. A second set is decorated with yellow roses and greenery on a white and creamy yellow background. The third cup is hand painted with blue forget-me-nots on a pale blue ground, and the third saucer is decorated with pink and blue morning glories on a white and off-white ground. This cup and saucer were not original mates, but display very well together. Rich gold gilding adorns the ornate finial, handle, rims, and raised relief surfaces of the chocolate pot, lid, cups, and saucers. The gilding is in excellent condition. The only flaws found on this set are two tiny chips (1/32" and 1/8" in size) on the rim of the yellow roses cup and a small chip or flaw (1/8" in size) on the spout rim of the chocolate pot. These flaws are not obvious and do not detract from the beauty and style of this rare set. Please see photos to view the flaws. Each piece of the set is marked with the Jean Pouyat factory underglaze white ware mark in green, circa 1890-1932. The chocolate pot stands 11 ¼" tall. Each pedestal cup stands 3 ¾" tall, and each saucer measures 4 ¾" in diameter. This unique chocolate set is in very good antique condition with the exception of the flaws mentioned above. |

Marvelous Limoges tea set with roses. This lovely set includes a lidded teapot, covered sugar bowl, creamer, and tray. The beautifully shaped tray is marked with the Jean Pouyat underglaze white ware mark in green, circa 1890-1932. It measures 13 ¾" long and 12 ½" wide. The teapot and sugar/creamer are unmarked Limoges blanks. The very talented artist, E. Thomas (E. Miler), has signed all four pieces of the set. The teapot stands 6" tall to the top of the finial and measures almost 5" in diameter across the base. The sugar bowl measures 4 ¾" tall to the top of the finial, and the creamer stands 3 ½" tall. All pieces of the set are expertly hand painted with pale pink roses and greenery on a soft pastel palette of creamy ivory, pink blush, pale blue, and soft mint green. Rich gold gilding adorns the rims, handles, and finials. The gilding is in excellent condition, with very minor wear noted on the handles of the sugar/creamer and the upper rim of the creamer. Angular bands of peach luster glaze, outlined in black, separate the panels. The rims, handles, and finials are decorated with vibrant gold gilding that is in near-mint condition. The very talented artist, Fridie, has signed each piece. The teapot is marked with the Vignaud Freres underglaze white ware mark in green, circa 1911-1938. The sugar bowl and creamer are marked with the Paroutaud Freres underglaze white ware mark in green, circa 1903-1917. Fabulous Limoges chocolate pot with grapes and peaches. This stately chocolate pot features a scalloped and beaded rim and foot, as well as a twisted and beaded finial and handle. It is expertly hand painted by listed French-factory artist, Henriot. Ripening peaches and grapes adorn both the pot and lid. The gold gilding was applied by the sponge method and shows very minimal wear. The piece is double marked with the Coiffe factory underglaze white ware mark in green, circa 1891-1914, as well as the Flambeau (L. D. B. & Co.) overglaze decorating mark in green, circa 1890's-1900's. The chocolate pot stands 11 ¾" tall and measures 5" in diameter at its widest point. This charming chocolate pot is expertly rendered with trailing pink roses and greenery on a ground that varies from a soft mint green to a deeper sea foam green. The pierced finial, handle, and upper rim are decorated with rich gold gilding that is in excellent condition. There is no artist signature on the chocolate pot, but the beautiful hand painted roses appear to be the work of well-known American amateur artist, E. Miler. Lovely Limoges hand painted chocolate set. This set consists of a chocolate pot with lid, six matching chocolate cups and saucers, and matching tray. The chocolate pot, cups and saucers are all marked with the A. Klingenberg Factory underglaze white ware mark in green, circa 1890's-1910. The 16" by 13" tray is marked with the Jean Pouyat Factory underglaze white ware mark in green, circa 1890-1932. The set is hand painted with beautiful wild roses in soft pastel pinks and yellows. The clusters of roses and greenery are breathtaking on the background of various shades of brown, yellow, pink, salmon, and cream. The spout, handle, finial and rim of the chocolate pot are painted with lovely gold gilt, as are the rims and handles of the cups and saucers. The tray is signed and dated by the artist, W. Bhellingsworth, 1903. The chocolate pot is 10" tall to the top of the finial. The saucers measure 4 ¾" in diameter, and the cups are just under 3" tall. Fabulous Limoges chocolate set with gooseberries. This handsome chocolate set includes an unmarked GDA (Gerard, Dufraisseix, and Abbot) chocolate pot, along with ten matching cups and saucers. The cups and saucers are marked with the Charles J. Ahrenfeldt underglaze white ware mark in green, circa 1894-1930's. The elegant chocolate pot is expertly hand painted with caramel colored gooseberries and greenery on a ground of chocolate and caramel brown. The chocolate pot's lid, upper neck, and upper portion of the handle are painted a rich and glossy chocolate brown. The pot's finial, spout, mouth, neck, and lower portion of the handle are decorated with vibrant gold gilding that is in excellent condition. The chocolate pot stands 11 ½" tall to the top of the bow-shaped finial. The ten matching cups are 2 ¾" tall and feature an orange opalescent interior. The ten saucers measure 5 ¼" in diameter and feature chocolate brown centers, fading to lighter, caramel brown edges. The cups have two-toned, gold and brown handles, just like the chocolate pot. All pieces of this outstanding antique set are in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks, or restoration. |

Gorgeous Limoges chocolate set with dogwood decoration. Included in this set is a chocolate pot with five matching cups and saucers. Each piece of this beautifully rendered set is hand painted with life-like white dogwood blossoms, branches, and foliage. The edges of the white dogwood petals are highlighted with a lovely muted shade of salmon. The branches and foliage are done in shades of brown and olive green. Background colors are a perfect blending of pale blue, pale salmon, taupe, and muted green. Delicate gold gilding outlines the rims of each piece as well as the edges of the handle and finial of the chocolate pot. The very talented artist has initialed and dated the pieces, S. A. J. 1905. The only imperfection to note in this beautiful set is a slight glaze skip, measuring ½" long, on the outer rim of one of the cups. It does not detract from the beauty of the cup or the set. Each piece of the set is marked with a Tressemann and Vogt underglaze white ware mark in green, circa 1892-1907. The chocolate pot measures 10" tall to the top of the finial. Unique, antique Stouffer teapot. This rare, hand painted teapot features white narcissus with yellow centers on stylized green and aqua blue stems. The glossy white flowers and stems are a sharp contrast to the deep green, matte finish of the teapot. The handle, spout, rims, and finial of the teapot are decorated with rich gold gilding that is in excellent condition. There is some unevenness to the mouth rim of the teapot, but it appears to be original and most likely occurred during manufacturing. Elegant Limoges opalescent chocolate pot set with roses. This delightful set includes a chocolate pot with four matching cups and saucers. The chocolate pot features a double-looped ribbon handle and finial and sits on a gracefully flared and skirted base. The hand painted decoration is done in panels, with alternating panels boasting delicate pink and creamy yellow roses and foliage. The panels between those with roses decoration are painted a creamy ivory. The ribbing between the panels is delicate apricot color with black accents, and the inner spout and rim of the pot are also brushed in apricot. The cups and saucers are hand painted with the same design. The entire set has an opalescent finish. Adorable Limoges tea set with wild roses. This petite set consists of a covered teapot, covered sugar bowl, and creamer. Each piece is hand painted with pink wild roses, vines, and foliage on a background of cream, pale blue, chocolate brown, along with a touch of yellow. The porcelain blanks feature the wedding ring design, with double rings on the handles and finials. The handles and finials are decorated with gold gilding that is in excellent condition. There is a tiny factory flaw on one of the rings on the sugar bowl cover, and it is painted with original gold gilding. (Please see the photo.) Gorgeous Limoges tea caddy with forget-me-nots. This large tea caddy is hand painted with blue forget-me-nots and foliage on a ground of snow white. The beautifully embossed mold is decorated with elegant gilded highlights that accentuate the raised relief surfaces of the blank. The piece measures 6" tall to the top of the cover and is almost 4" wide at its widest point. The bottom of the tea caddy is unglazed and is double marked with the Charles Ahrenfeldt white ware mark in green, along with the Ahrenfeldt decorating mark in red. Adorable Limoges hand painted chocolate pot. This beauty is elegantly hand painted with white, yellow, lilac, and blue flowers that are accented with raised enamel highlights. Background colors are a soft white, pale lilac, soft green, and pale blue. The spout, handle, rim, and finial are painted with gold gilt, and the upper portion of the pot is adorned with brushed gold. The chocolate pot is initialed and dated by the artist, E. M. G. "92", for 1892. Although unmarked, this is definitely a Limoges blank. This same blank is pictured on the front cover of Mary Frank Gaston's book, Collector's Encyclopedia of Limoges Porcelain (Third Edition), and it is also pictured on page 218 of that book. It is identified there as having been manufactured by the Klingenberg/Dwenger Factory. The pot stands 9 ½" tall to the top of the finial and is in excellent condition, with minimal gold wear to the finial, handle, and rim (where the lid sits). The pot measures 8 ½" tall to the top of the finial and is 5 ½" in diameter at the base. It is marked with the William Guerin Company underglaze white ware mark in green, circa 1900-1932. The cups and saucers are marked with the Tressemann and Vogt underglaze white ware mark in green, circa 1900-1917. The cookie plates are round in shape and measure 5" in diameter. They are marked with the La Porcelaine Limousine underglaze white ware mark in green, circa 1905-1930's. The chocolate pot, saucers, and cookie plates are signed on the bottom by the artist, K. Thomas. The saucers measure 5 ¾" across, and the cups stand 3 ½" tall to the top of the handle. The handles and rims of the various pieces are trimmed with gold gilding that is in excellent condition and shows no visible wear. This is an excellent set, with no chips, cracks, or repairs. |

Enchanting Tressemann and Vogt Chocolate Pot, circa 1892-1907. This lovely pot is handpainted with beautiful pink, red and yellow roses on a background of pastel yellow, blue, green and soft shades of brown. The rim and spout are heavily gilted with no gold loss. The lid is painted in pale blue and yellow with the finial covered in gold gilt. The artist's initials, MBP, appear next to the handle of the pot. The pot stands 10" tall and measures 4 1/2" across the base. Near Mint condition. |

Gorgeous Limoges factory decorated coffee pot. This handsome piece is hand painted in an Art Nouveau style with brightly colored tulips and greenery on an ivory colored background. Its beauty is further enhanced by the elaborate and expertly applied gold gilding. The pot is signed by the listed Limoges artist, Mullidy, and is marked with the Bawo and Dotter (Elite Works) underglaze white ware mark, as well as the Elite Works overglaze decorating mark, circa 1900-1914. The coffee pot stands 9 ½" tall to the top of the finial. It has no chips, cracks, or repairs. Excellent condition. |

Fabulous Limoges Tea Set. The set includes the teapot with lid, covered sugar bowl and 5 cups and saucers. All pieces are handpainted and signed by the artist. Violets are painted on all pieces on a pastel background of green and violet. The pot has a very heavy gilded handle, rim and foot as does the matching sugar bowl. The teapot and sugar bowl are marked B&Co. (Bernardand and Company), circa 1914-1930's. The cups are marked MZAustria. The matching saucers are unmarked. The pot is 9" high and 5 1/2" wide at the base. The cups are 4" across the top and saucers have a 5 1/2" diameter. A beautiful set in excellent condition. |

Dainty and delicate Limoges coffee pot. This adorable coffee pot stands 9 ½" tall to the top of the finial and sits on a circular base that is 2 ¾" in diameter. This same William Guerin and Company blank appears on the cover of Debby DuBay's book, Antique Limoges at Home. This vintage piece is elegantly hand painted with pink, red, and yellow roses and greenery, and its beauty is enhanced by lots of gold detailing. It is signed on the bottom by the artist, B. Huey, and is marked with the William Guerin and Company underglaze white ware mark, circa 1900-1932. This coffee pot has no chips, cracks, repairs of loss of gold. Mint condition. |
