Exquisite Limoges punch bowl with morning glories. This gorgeous punch bowl is expertly hand painted with large pink and white morning glory blossoms and greenery on a ground of ivory, olive green, pink blush, and amber. The ornate rim of the bowl is decorated with vibrant gold gilding that is in excellent condition, with minor wear noted to a few of the highpoints of the rim. The pedestal foot of the bowl is also decorated with vibrant gold gilding that is in perfect condition. Well-known French factory artist, Reynaud, has signed the side of the bowl. The bowl measures 13" in diameter and stands 6" tall at the rim. It is double marked with the Tressemann and Vogt underglaze white ware mark in green, circa 1907-1919, as well as the T & V overglaze decorating mark in red from that same period. Background colors are a beautiful palette of deep sienna, creamy ivory, buttery yellow, and soft blue. Pickard Studio artist, Jacob Kiefus, has signed the bowl's interior. It is definitely fine, antique European porcelain and has a beautiful ring to it when tapped lightly. It is hand painted all around its circumference with ripe purple blackberries, pink and white blossoms, and lush greenery. The bowl's interior is a lovely butternut shade and features more blackberries, vines, and foliage in lovely muted shades of purple, tan, and olive green. Ornate and intricate gold scrolling appears on both the inner and outer rims of the bowl. The base or foot of the bowl is decorated with gold gilding and a band of deep hunter green. The punch bowl measures 13 ½" in diameter and stands 5 ½" tall at the rim. This lovely antique punch bowl is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks, or restoration. |

Elegant Pickard Studio bowl, hand painted and signed by Fisher (Emil J. T. Fischer). This large and lovely bowl is decorated with the "Carnation and Raised Gold" design, featuring two pink carnations on either side of a more stylized white carnation. The white carnation is outlined with raised gold gilding, as are the stems that extend into the feathery gold design in the center of the bowl. The scalloped and tufted rim of the bowl is trimmed with a wide band of gold gilding that shows no loss. Within this band of gilding is delicate deep red scrollwork. The bowl measures 9" in diameter and stands 2 ¼" tall at the rim. It is marked with the Pickard Studio decorating mark used at the Ravenswood studio, circa 1905-1910. Sensational Limoges roses bowl. Large and lovely roses in white, pink, and burgundy fill the interior of this 8 ½" bowl. Three pink roses appear on the outside of the bowl as well. The roses, with their raised enamel highlights, appear three-dimensional against the beautifully shaded background of deep teal blue, mint green, and sky blue. The top and bottom rims of the bowl are trimmed with gold gilding. This beautifully rendered piece is signed by French factory artist, Rancon. The bowl stands 2" tall and is marked with the P. M. Gorgeous Limoges pudding bowl with liner. This wonderful pudding set is hand painted with bright pink roses and foliage on a deep forest green background. The Art Nouveau mold has a flared and scalloped bottom rim that is heavily gilded, with the gold being in near mint condition. The top rim of the outer bowl is also gilded and in perfect condition. The bowl is signed by French factory artist, Breton. The outer bowl measures 10 ½" in diameter at its widest point and stands slightly less than 3 ½" high. It is marked with the Tressemann and Vogt underglaze white ware mark in green, circa 1907-1919, and the Tressemann and Vogt overglaze decorating mark in purple, circa 1907-1919. The insert or liner measures 8 ¾" in diameter and stands 2 ¾" tall. It is marked with the Tressemann and Vogt underglaze white ware mark in green, circa 1892-1907. The liner has a thin band of gold around the top rim that does have slight loss in one area that measures about ¼" long. The liner is a perfect pure white and appears to have never been used. This rare set is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks, or restoration. |

This colorful bowl is hand painted with ripe peaches, a pear, grapes, and a dark green jug on a background of soft green, yellow, apricot, and deep burgundy colors. The scalloped rim is trimmed with a thick band of gold gilding that is in perfect condition. The outside of the bowl is painted with a blending of pastel yellow, apricot and lavender colors. The bowl is signed on the front by the artist, J. Pegrot. It measures 10" in diameter and stands 2 ¼" tall. It is marked with the P.M. The open handles are decorated with gold gilding that is in excellent condition. The bowl is signed on the front by the artist, but the spelling is difficult to decipher. Beautiful Limoges footed bowl or fernier. This lovely fernier is hand painted with large roses in shades of red, pink, white, and pale yellow. The ground color is a blending of various shades of mauve and taupe, giving the hand painting great depth and richness. The upper rim of the fernier is trimmed with gold gilding that is in excellent condition. The artist has initialed and dated the piece on the bottom, ELB 1900. The fernier measures 8" in diameter and stands 4 ½" tall. It is marked with the Tressemann and Vogt underglaze white ware mark in green, with a patent date of December 22, 1896. The fernier does have some water stains on the inside bottom, but is otherwise in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks, or restoration. |

This wonderfully detailed and footed bowl is hand painted inside and out with red holly berries, green holly leaves, and brown branches. The background shading is light to dark green with highlights of blue and yellow. The bowl's rim, feet and interior are accented with lovely gold gilding. No factory or decorating mark is visible, as the underside of the bowl is painted a deep forest green. The signature is correct for listed Pickard Studio artist, Beutlich. Outstanding hand painted Limoges oyster bowl. This beautifully shaped Limoges blank features four open rings on each corner and a raised design along the curved top rim. It is hand painted with a life-like ocean scene with seashells and underwater plants. The seashells have raised white enamel highlights that make them look and feel like real seashells. Raised white enamel highlights in the blue water areas give the appearance of underwater bubbles. The gold gilding that highlights the rim and open rings is in excellent condition with no loss. The bowl measures 10" across and is marked with the Limoges, France, banner shaped underglaze white ware mark in green, used after 1891. This same Limoges blank is pictured on page 404 (Plate 1030) of Mary Frank Gaston's "Collector's Encyclopedia of Limoges Porcelain" (Third Edition). Large Limoges punch bowl with six goblets, handpainted, in the art nouveau style, with blackberries and blackberry blossoms. It bears the William Guerin underglaze white ware mark in green which dates it to 1900-1932. The wide gilt band inside the bowl and goblets is lovely against the iridescent glaze that covers the inside of each piece. The outside of each piece is a light creamy yellow. The bowl is massive at 14" in diameter and 7" in height. Each goblet is 4 1/4" in diameter and 2 3/4" tall. The goblets are unmarked. The bowl has very minor gilt ware to the rim. The goblets are all in mint condition. |

Gorgeous, oval center bowl by Wheelock Studio of Rockford, Illinois. According to Reed's Collector's Encyclopedia of Pickard China, Wheelock was one of several commercial china studios in competition with the Pickard Studio around 1910. This lovely bowl is a fine example of the quality work done by the Wheelock Studio. The bowl is marked with the Wheelock Studio decorating mark and is signed by the artist, Bell. It is beautifully hand painted with pink and red cabbage roses on a background of deep pink, green, creamy yellow, and blue. The sculpted edge of the bowl is decorated with heavy gold gilt that is in perfect condition. The bowl is oval in shape and measures 9 ¼" by 7"and is about 1 ½" deep.
