Charming antique lemonade or cider pitcher with lemon motif. Though unmarked, this hand painted pitcher has the look and feel of fine European porcelain, and is most likely Limoges or Austrian in origin. The mold features an ornate handle, ornate mouth rim, as well as a raised decorative design around the neck and spout. The artist, De'Laurice, has signed the pitcher near the handle. Sunny yellow lemons, white blossoms, and vibrant green foliage adorn both sides, as well as the inner spout, of the pitcher. Background colors are chocolate brown, caramel, buttery yellow, and sky blue. Gold gilding outlines the mouth of the pitcher. The gilding is in excellent condition. The pitcher stands 6 ½" tall and measures 8 ½" from handle to spout. With no chips, cracks, or repairs, this vintage lemonade pitcher is in excellent condition. |
